  Last of its kind in Perth. Very cost effective on Tuesdays (pay per car) and fri-sun (two movies). Lots of new choices.

  Be mindful of sundown timing. If your movie is very dark (like Batman) visibility isn't that great for the first ten minutes.

  We as a family and living only a stone throw away from Galaxy Drive In have experienced many evenings watching a movie. Being a icon and a tie between the old and the new way to watch movies, Galaxy is the last of its kind and subsequently the experience is magically nostalgic and brings back many find memories for so many of how relaxing and enjoyable it is to watch a movie in the comfort of your own car. The kids really love it and Galaxy as much as they commercially can afford to cater for children with the choices of movies. They have cheap Tuesday night's only charging a flat car rate rather than the normal per person tarrif which is about $20. In comparison the rates are nothing to that of the cinema. In summary Galaxy Drive In, Kingsley is certainly worth a look, if you are going to visit make sure you plan enough time and remember there is normally quite a long line of cars lined up waiting for the gates to open. I've seen people have to go back home disappointed after the gates were closed once it hit full capacity. Plan ahead and give yourself a bit of time to avoid possible disappointment.

  You have to get there early to get a really great spot. The experience at the movies is a fantastic family night out. Just pack a picnic dinner etc and it is a great value night out to the movies for a family.
